Catalyst started in 2011 as install labour and grew into full-service supply + install. We spec luxury European fenestration systems, source them directly from manufacturers, manage import and customs, and install with our own crew. The same team carries every project from the architect's spec to the final closeout package.
Catalyst is a fenestration company in Maple Ridge, B.C. We work with GCs, architects, and direct homeowners on custom homes, multi-family, light commercial, and high-end renovation. Our centre of gravity is luxury residential, but we'll take any project where the envelope and the spec actually matter.
The business is led by Mike Beaudry — President and Lead Installer — with our crew of installers handling the on-site work. The strategic direction is supply + install: we're the people who pull the shop drawings, source the European systems, manage the import logistics, and put them in the wall.
For years Catalyst was understood as an installation business. That framing undersells what we do. The shift to full-service supply + install means we own the spec, the supplier relationship, the import, and the install — not as separate trades, but as one continuous accountable line of sight. Architects and GCs deal with one team, not four.
First supply+install jobs landed in 2026. Likely future hires: an estimator/drafter, salesperson, additional installers and apprentices. The catalogue of systems we work with grows with every new project we touch.
Most of our work is Lower Mainland — Vancouver, North Vancouver, West Vancouver, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Surrey, Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows. We've done interior B.C. work (Fraser Valley, Whistler) and we'll travel for the right project. AutoCAD shop drawings handled in-house; CAD files live in Dropbox so X-refs sync cleanly across the crew.
Windows, doors, membrane, flashing, sheathing — they're one system, not separate trades. Our crew treats them that way. That's why our warranty isn't just "manufacturer covered" — it's Catalyst-backed end-to-end.
Cortizo via Vinyltek is 16 weeks. We don't pad that and we don't sandbag it. If we tell you a date, that's the date. If something slips on the manufacturer side, you hear about it the day we hear about it.
Step 5 isn't always the right answer. Slim sightlines aren't always the right answer. We'll spec the system that hits your performance target and your budget — we don't oversell, and we don't undersell.
